Personal
A Florida native born in Tampa and raised in Miami, Lisset returned to the Tampa Bay area in 2004. She and her husband, Wayne, have lived in the Crescent Lake Neighborhood in St. Petersburg since 2006. They love raising their young daughter in St. Petersburg. Their older daughter finished college and is enjoying the outdoors in Utah. They also have a dog (Ginger) and two cats (Saint and Pete) at home. Lisset is the daughter of Cuban exiles who came to the United States during the Freedom Flights. She is fluent in Spanish. A devoted advocate for the power of mentorship, Lisset has participated in the Pinellas County School’s Lunch Pals program since 2018.
