Heritage Village Museum & Park and Hannah Hayes, Curator of Education, about all the upcoming events and oral history project being conducted by Pinellas County's Heritage Village with the help of community partners and organizations (Eckerd College professors and students (Parks), Preserve The Burg, Florida Humanities, Lealman Exchange, myself and others). We talked about events, exhibits and America 250 oral history project and how you can be part of this national initiative.  Many of these interviews will air on RadioStPete AMERICA 250: PINELLAS COUNTY  - One Place: Many Voices  Tuesdays 5:10 pm starting in March.
👉In 2026, Heritage Village will proudly commemorate its 50th anniversary, coinciding with America’s 250th celebration. This is a significant milestone, as it marks 50 years since the 1976 Bicentennial movement, which inspired the creation of numerous historical organizations and societies, along with the establishment of open-air museums like Heritage Village throughout the nation! you are invited to join them in celebrating this momentous occasion!  
👉Be sure to check out Pages in the Park where they feature a book each month in their story walk signs throughout the park,  usually with a schoolhouse storytime in their 1912 Harris Schoolhouse.
