Show Notes
In this episode of GOOD DEEDS, host Nanette Wiser chats with Bank of America Tampa Bay President Michael Esposito about their recent and current philanthropic projects here in Tampa Bay, totaling nearly one million dollars in funding to support the arts and address issues fundamental to economic opportunity.
👉Bank of America Tampa Bay announced a half million dollar in investments in two of Tampa Bay’s leading art institutions, Tampa Museum of Art and Tampa Theatre. Each organization will receive $250,000, benefiting the Tampa Museum of Art’s expansion project and kicking off Tampa Theatre’s capital campaign for its restoration, expanded education programming and technology upgrades.
👉 Neighborhood Builders Program Bank of America named Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tampa Bay (BGCGTB) and Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay (JATB) as its 2025 Neighborhood Builders® for their work building career pathways for children, teens, and young adults across Tampa Bay. Bank of America’s signature Neighborhood Builders program continues to be one of the nation’s largest philanthropic investments into nonprofit leadership development, while providing unique multiyear flexible funding annually to high-impact nonprofits in communities nationwide. Both Tampa Bay nonprofits are each awarded a $200,000 grant over two years, comprehensive leadership training for the organization’s executive director and an emerging leader, and access to a national network of nonprofit peers.
👉Since the program’s inception, 43 nonprofits have been selected as Neighborhood Builders in Tampa Bay, with the bank investing more than $10 million in philanthropic capital into these nonprofits.
