(Podcast Version) In our ongoing series of holiday stories, host Nanette Wiser turned to sommelier and wine educator Sharon Mahoney who also is co-owner of Savoir on Central about how to throw a holiday wine tasting party, selecting wines/bubbly for your holiday meal or anytime of year as well as what's trending. We learned that fried chicken pairs well with bubbly, chocolate with cabernet sauvignon, introduced us to zero alcohol wines that taste fabulous and came up with a dozen ways to perk up the crowd with blind tastings at your next event. Sharon also  hosts wine education classes at Thrive DTSP, does History in a Bottle for the St. Petersburg museum of History (Irish whiskey next up in March 2026)  and is part of our fabulous co-working space.
