The Kenyan mediators of the Tumaini Peace Initiative have confirmed that peace talks between the South Sudanese government and opposition holdout groups will resume in Nairobi, Kenya, on Monday next week.
This follows a meeting earlier this week between South Sudan President, Salva Kiir and President William Ruto of Kenya in Juba, where the Tumaini mediation team was given a two-week timeline to address the remaining issues.
