Samba’s life has been one of discovery and adventure. The book he has written, The Krishna Carpenter, available on Amazon, is about different ways of seeing the world, education, and what we really need to learn. It’s about Krishna because Samba is a devotee of Krishna. Samba Das, now living in Mayapur, West Bengal, India, has been a carpenter, a traveller, a builder, and an expert in the science of Krishna Consciousness for half a century. Bhakti Rasayana Sagar Swami was born in Baku. In our family, God was not denied, but they also did not follow religious practice. My grandfather was a wealthy landowner. During the revolution, everything was taken from him, then, it seems, they were shot, therefore, in the family, communism was considered a great evil. Everything that the school gave, I did not accept as the truth, especially since I was familiar with the reverse side of the “coin”. Most surprisingly, it was this that helped me become interested in Krsna consciousness. The first acquaintance took place in 1982 through a communist pamphlet, which described various religious movements. It spoke of Krsna Consciousness. In it, devotees were portrayed as lunatics, dressed in sheets and with shaved heads who repeat the same incoherent words and look terrible. In these descriptions, a part of the Maha Mantra was given. I thought that these must be good people, and the words that they repeat probably make sense. I had a desire to learn more about this. He is currently based in London, UK. He was initiated by Indradyumna Swami and has served in a variety of roles in ISKCON, including temple president in Chelyabinsk, Russia, from 1995 to 2005, regional secretary from 1996 to 2005, and GBC deputy for Russia from 1999 to 2003. Navina Nirada Dasa joined ISKCON in Zurich, Switzerland, in 1984 at the age of 15 and soon became one of the world's top book distributors. He travelled the globe more than a dozen times as Book Distribution Minister. Since 1996, he has been part of a team that successfully taught thousands of devotees through this Graduate Course of Book Distribution. He built and directs the Vaishnava Academy in Mayapur and earned his Bhaktivedanta degree from Mayapur Institute. He delivers seminars on book distribution and leadership and guides individuals through his personal experience from nearly four decades of practice. Vackresvari Dasi is an initiated disciple of Jayapataka Swami. She has lived in Mayapur, cultivating and teaching in the Russian community for many years. She is a serious practitioner and student of Vedic sastra knowledge and a strong proponent of the teachings of A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami. Vackresvari Dasi has written important books in Russian. Umapati Das is an initiated ISKCON disciple of Jayapataka Swami, and H.G. Vrajendra Kumar Prabhu is a senior devotee from Russia. He was born in 1960 in Vladivostok. Since his childhood he has been interested in yoga and Eastern philosophy. He got his master’s degree in philology, translation, Asian studies and the Japanese language from the Far Eastern Federal University. In 1979 he read the ancient scripture Bhagavad Gita for the first time.After his visit to India in 1984 he began a deep study and translation of the ancient Vedic scriptures. In 1990 he received his first initiation from H.H. Prabhavisnu Maharaja. In 1999 he graduated from the Mayapur Institute for Higher Education with a Bhakti-Sastri degree (Master of Philosophy). VrajaVinod Shyam Das was born in 1979 in South India. He has completed his MBA in Maysour. He moved to Dubai for work and shifted to Mayapur in 2021. He is the CFO (Chief Finance Officer) in Mayapur. Radhika Nagara Das began practicing Krishna consciousness in 1995. From 1996 to 2008, he served full-time with the Scottish Yatra. By the mercy of Srila Prabhupada, the Scottish Yatra was one of the leading yatras in book distribution worldwide. While serving with the Scottish Yatra, he was engaged in book distribution and became one of the managing directors and sankirtana leaders in 2003, and continued serving in that capacity until 2008. He actively preached in universities and facilitated weekly Nama-hattas and festivals in the main cities of the North of England. These included regular Bhagavad-gita classes and discourses on the philosophy of Krishna consciousness.Since 2008, Radhika Nagar Das has mostly resided in Sridham Mayapur, studying Srila Prabhupada’s books. He coordinates and facilitates the Bhaktivaibhava course for the MI in Mayapur and the Middle East. Devaki Devi Dasi, disciple of HH Niranjana Maharaja, joined the brahmacharini ashram in Sydney/Australia in 1985. Prahlad Narasimha Das Adhikari was born in 1959 to a Catholic family in the historic city of Cuenca, Ecuador.As a teenager, he began to practice yoga and TM meditation. Having reached the age of 14, he started to serve in Yogananda's Ashram, where he first became acquainted with such Vedic sciences as Jyotish astrology, Vastu, Ayurveda, having received this knowledge from a Swami, who also told him about the Maha-mantra Hare Krishna and about the Ratha Yatra procession in New York, where he saw Srila Prabhupada, the great saint from India.In 1981, Prabhu received an initiation into Brahma Madhva Gaudiya Sampradaya Yoga. Krsna Vijaya is the General Manager of ISKCON Mayapur. He was born in Hyderabad, India, and was introduced to Krishna Consciousness through his maternal uncle in Secundrabad. Born in Kenya, Africa, in 1992, Rama Rupa Das grew his devotional philosophy to become a Vaishnava at the ISKCON Mayapur West Bengal Gurukul school for boys. After graduating in 2016, Rama Rupa has gone on to a devotional Seva career in Deity Service, Land Management, and different worship ministries. Mahatma Prabhu was born in Los Angeles, California in 1950. In 1969, at the age of 19, he first met Srila Prabhupada through The Bhagavad Gita As It Is, and then later that year met Srila Prabhupada personally in Los Angeles. In January of 1970 he moved into the temple in Berkeley, California and shortly after received first and second initiation.He went on to do a variety of services including book distribution, sankirtan leader, temple president, college preaching, congregational development, and various educational projects. Vamsi Vadana Das was born in 1986 in Bulgaria. He trained as a film and art teacher at the Bulgaria National Academy of Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria. It is the oldest and most renowned school of arts in the country. Born in 1999 in Sofia, Bulgaria, Gopi Gheta Amrita was born into a devotee family. At age 15, her maturity caused her to love Bhakti, and she began her life as a Vaishnava. Gopi Gheta Amrita, a highly trained musician in percussion at the music academy, is also a trained music conductor. Krishna Chaitanya Das was born to a devotee family in Mumbai on 14 January 1989. He was the first young devotee in Gurukul to complete Bhakti Sastri. Prabhu was the Head Master in Gurukul for a few years and still teaches Gurukul to youngsters how to do Yagnas the traditional way according to Sat Kriya Sara Dipika by Bhaktivinoda Thakur. Prabhu is in charge of teaching and performing all the yagnas here in Mayapur. Jagadanada Das was born in July 1980 in a small village in Bangladesh. He was known for singing Bengali kirtans in his village from a very early age. Prabhu was introduced to the Hare Krishna devotees in 2002 and later shifted to Sridham Mayapur in 2017. Prabhupada Das, born in Philadelphia during the hard years of Philly city living eventually found the Hare Krishna devotees who initially he did not like. Over many years of fighting against the struggles of life in Philly he succumbed to the love from A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami and became his disciple. In his long service as devotee to his guru A.C. Mandakini Devi Dasi was born in UK, July 2001. Mataji lived the first 12 years in UK and later shifted to Sridham Mayapur. She is a singer and plays the instrument Veena. Biography of His Grace Kripanidhi prabhu.His Grace Kripanidhi Prabhu was initiated by Srila Prabhupada in 1972, at the age of 21, in Portland, Oregon, USA.On the direct order of Srila Prabhupada, he traveled and distributed books as a brahmacari for the next 11 years.In November 1977, he was briefly sent to Vrindavan, where he was present during the final pastimes of Srila Prabhupada. He was privileged to dig the samadhi by hand for Srila Prabhupada on the night of November 14th with another brahmacari.He returned to India in 1983 and served as President of the New Delhi Temple for 6 years. Murari Mohini Devi Dasi was born into a simple and loving family in Oruro, Bolivia. Ramai Swami was born in Alexandria, Egypt, but grew up in Australia when his parents moved there when he was 4 years old, and studied music at The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT). He came in contact with ISKCON by reading a Back To Godhead magazine belonging to a friend from the university. He joined as a full time member and was initiated by Srila Prabhupada in Melbourne in 1973. Ramai Swami spent his formative years in ISKCON in the Brisbane and Melbourne temples, and later headed bus programs, traveling to cities and towns and sharing Krishna consciousness all over the Australian continent.
