Deacon Thady shares a birthday reflection, having been born on St. Patrick’s Day, and speaks warmly about a few days travelling the country with his wife Carmel, visiting monastic sites and marvelling at how the mustard seed Patrick planted in Ireland in the fourth and fifth century grew into something that now reaches every major city in the world. He reads a poem by Sister Susan Evangelist on trusting God through difficulty, a spring reflection by a prayer group member on Lent as a time for interior renewal, and a passage from Proverbs on the healing power of staying immersed in the Word of God. He closes with a beautiful meditation on silence, beauty and what it means to be wrapped in what he calls a blanket of seamless prayer when surrounded by nature.
