Róisín, aged seven, from County Antrim asks Fr. Darren how to best prepare for her First Holy Communion. Fr. Darren answers with a beautiful and simple image: think of Jesus as your closest friend, and preparing your heart to receive him like tidying your room and getting ready to welcome a special guest into your home. He reminds children that the most important thing, both before and after this special day, is to make time to talk to Jesus in their heart, tell him they love him, and never leave him sitting alone.
