Brendan , aged eleven, from County Antrim asks Fr. Darren how to best prepare for the sacrament of Confirmation. Fr. clarifies that Confirmation means being strengthened with the Holy Spirit, not just affirming faith, and compares it to a transition into a more responsible, adult way of practicing Christianity. To prepare, children should imagine welcoming the Holy Spirit as a special guest by praying, making a good Confession, and cultivating love, joy, and readiness in their hearts.
