Previously on Dear Moulana, in the story A Mother’s Last Wish, Mualimah Halima met with Moulana to share her concerns. She told him about a family discussion where she expressed her wish to move into an old-age home and rent out her house. Her children were unhappy with the idea and later held a meeting without her, deciding to make what they believed was the best decision about their mother’s life.
