Sullivan County legislators still can’t agree on where to put a gateway housing shelter. Some critics warn that the clock is ticking to apply for funding for the facility before state funds are gone, but that funding is no longer available.
On Wednesday, New York's Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance suspended accepting funding applications for the key housing program the county was planning to apply for.
