A recent Sullivan County health report revealed that more than 300 adults and children were living in emergency housing as of November 5th. Among them are residents with disabilities, who often face increased barriers to securing accessible housing.
Hotels-for-housing placements have increasingly become New York state’s primary way to shelter homeless families – despite offering no wraparound support services.
