Hudson Valley Pattern for Progress recently published a report detailing how neighboring states of New York are addressing the housing crisis at the state level. This nonprofit organization conducts research and analysis on demographic and statistical data.
Both the 2024 NY budget proposal and New York’s State of the State neglected to talk about crucial issues such as mitigating high rental costs and safeguarding tenants against unlawful eviction.
