Damascus Volunteer Ambulance Corps has reported a 14 percent increase in emergency calls this year so far. But as its volunteer numbers dwindle and expected Medicaid cuts, EMS operators are worried about how the mostly volunteer-led organization will continue to serve residents in the coming years.
