Choosing a clinician who specializes in the psychological intervention to handle my situation, is vital towards a successful outcome. Unfortunately, effective evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) are not top of mind when we perform our google searches.
