Ilana is an Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Illinois as well as the author of the book Unassailable Ideas: How Unwritten Rules and Social Media Shape Discourse in American Higher Education In a world filled with the influence of social media, political discourse has become less tolerant, and conflicts are made faster to escalate. Ilana brings light on these subjects from an interdisciplinary perspective that combines psychology, political science, and media communications.
