No, your rabbi hasn’t joined the staff of People Magazine, but here is one reason why Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward’s marriage worked and Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston’s didn’t. Remember when female flight attendants (that would be ‘stewardesses’ to you old-timers!) were all young and beautiful? Let me tell you what happened to many of them. A good woman is not easy to find but her value vastly exceeds not only rubies but also the value of women with advanced academic degrees.
