The 1981 film, "Raiders of the Lost Ark" involves Nazi Germany sending a team of archaeologists to the Holy Land to uncover the holiest relic of the Jewish faith, the Ark of the Covenant. This film is more than just the work of Hollywood's creative minds, however, as Hitler really did have great interest in the holy relics of ancient times.
