Robin met her husband at "The" Ohio State University and has been married for 24 wonderful years. They currently live just outside the little town of Chesterville, Ohio. Robin has been sewing since the 7th grade. A quilted pillow was her second project and she knew from that point on that she was destined to be a quilter. The business started with her buying a Gammill Longarm and parking it in their dining room, working part time to build the business. Robin stated, "This was wildly convenient at first because I was able to help the kids with homework and cook dinner, all while monitoring the longarm as it is computerized." Today Robin's business, Thread White and Blue, has moved to its permanent home in the barn across her driveway. Robin says, "This April we will have celebrated 12 years in business. Wow. It's so hard to believe. Most days you will find myself and, my partner in crime, Susan working on all things quilting.
