Show Notes
(00:00-24:05) – The Fan Midday Show opens on a Tuesday with Will Haskett and Jimmy Cook by discussing the performance of Jimmy Butler last night to give the Miami Heat a 3-1 lead over Milwaukee, how sad they were when they heard the news of De’Aaron Fox fracturing his index finger on his shooting hand yesterday, and debate whether the Pacers have a player on the team that can take over a game in the playoffs like Butler did.
(24:05-41:43) – Former NFL player Ross Tucker joins the Fan Midday Show with Will Haskett and Jimmy Cook to share his opinion on who the Indianapolis Colts will select fourth overall, makes a point that Shane Steichen’s time with Jalen Hurt could impact the QB that he wants, what about Will Levis attracts NFL teams to him, and why he stated that french fries are overrated.
(41:43-48:02) – Hour one concludes with Will and Jimmy looking at some of the top quarterbacks in the NFL and discuss their mobility in connection to the last five Super Bowls. They debate how heavily the Colts will value you the mobility trait in comparison to the ability to deliver in the pocket.
(48:02-1:12:26) – The IndyStar’s Joel Erickson joins Will and Jimmy on The Fan to highlight some of the comments made by Colts players and coaches today from the team’s complex, why doesn’t think wide receiver is a top priority for Chris Ballard during the draft, a surprising position he could see Ballard draft in the early rounds that we aren’t talking about, and if cornerback is the first position group Ballard selects that’s not a QB.
(1:12:26-1:31:09) – With the NFL Draft being tomorrow, the crew decides to do a live three round mock draft where Will becomes Shane Steichen, Jimmy turns into Jim Irsay, and Eddie morphs into Chris Ballard.

(1:37:46-2:05:20) – Luke Easterling of Athlon Sports is the final guest on today’s show and provides his opinion on who he has mocked to the Indianapolis Colts, how he would weigh the value of the quarterback prospects vs quarterbacks that are available via trade, who Notre Dame’s tight end Michael Mayer reminds him of, and where teams could find the most value outside the first round.
(2:05:20-2:20:18) – Will and Jimmy get on the topic of associating basketball performances with food because JCook calling 30-point performances “burgers”. They transition back to the NFL Draft because Will wanted to put on his GM hat and evaluate the three quarterbacks that could be available for the Colts.
(2:20:18-2:27:47) – The final segment of the show is spent with Will asking Jimmy for his JCook Plays of the Day along with Eddie’s bets for tonight!
