After that brief conversation, they elaborate on the news yesterday that Jonathan Taylor is away from the team again. Additionally, Christian McCaffrey’s trade value comes up in conversation when discussing what the Colts could get for JT along with the impact CMC had on rookie QB Brock Purdy last season.

(27:16-40:30) – Brian shares a story of him submitting an interview for NFL Network. Later, Brian and Jimmy share some opinions on Anthony Richardson starting in connection to his impact of development by starting him week one compared to week seven.

(40:30-45:42) – Brian and Jimmy close out the hour discussing how people sometimes get confused when comparing things between sports after receiving a tweet from a listener.

(45:42-1:11:39) – George Bremer of the Herald Bulletin in Anderson joins the Fan Midday Show with Brian Noe and Jimmy Cook to give his assessment on Anthony Richardson primarily completing passes in last night’s joint practice with the Bears via check down, how the running backs struggled running the football yesterday, the impact of Ashton Dulin tearing his ACL in yesterday’s practice, and which area of the team he wants to see improve in the second joint practice.

(1:11:39-1:27:26) – Earlier in the show Brian teased a segment where the crew tries to compare stats between the Bears and Colts. Jimmy, producer Eddie Garrison, and Brian try to predict who will have better seasons in key statistical categories such as, rushing yards, sacks, receptions, and passer rating.

(1:27:26-1:31:42) – The one o’clock hour concludes with Brian and Jimmy discussing the story of Deion Sanders saying that if one person fights, then the entire team fights when one breaks out in a practice. He connects that to Tony Dungy’s motto when it came to fighting in training camp.

(1:31:42-1:50:44) – The voice of the Indianapolis Colts, Matt Taylor, joins Brian and Jimmy on the Fan Midday Show to reveal which player or position group he is looking forward to watching most besides Anthony Richardson, if there would be a specific opponent he would have liked to see the Colts face in week one with Anthony Richardson starting week one, and what he expects to see from Anthony Richardson in the second preseason game if he suits up.

(1:50:44-2:02:58) – Will the Trey Lance future in San Francisco looking bleak, Brian and Jimmy discuss how the Colts can’t afford Anthony Richardson turn into Lance because of his limited experience. This conversation is brought up because of 49ers Head Coach Kyle Shanahan saying Brock Purdy would have to melt to not be QB1.

(2:02:58-2:07:59) – Today’s show ends with Brian asking Jimmy for his JCook Plays of the Day and Eddie for his MLB picks! Plus, Brian provides an update on his Mario Kart competition with his nephew.
