Show Notes

(00:00-26:00) – Jimmy Cook and Brendan King open Monday’s show by recapping how their Christmas went yesterday, if Nick Foles could solidify himself as a top backup quarterback if the Colts went out and defeated the Chargers tonight, and compares the situation the Colts are in to the situation the Chicago Cubs have been in.

(26:00-37:45) – Voice of the Indiana Hoosiers in Don Fischer makes his weekly stop on the Fan Midday Show to dissect how some players stepped up against Elon and Kennesaw State without Trayce Jackson-Davis and Xavier Johnson, how Mike Woodson puts an emphasis on defense instead of offense, and how the team is being cautious with Jackson-Davis’s back issue.

(37:45-45:19) – Jimmy and Brendan close out the first hour of today’s show discussing the breaking news that the Denver Broncos have fired their head coach in Nathaniel Hackett.

(45:19-1:10:28) – PA Voice of the Indianapolis Colts and writer for Colts.com in JJ Stankevitz joins Jimmy and Brendan to explain what he’s going to monitor with this Colts team during their final three games of the season, how Bernhard Raimann has improved week to week since becoming the full-time starter at left tackle, and how the Colts could try and contain Austin Ekeler in the passing game.

(1:10:28-1:29:15) – Scott Agness of Fieldhouse Files joins Jimmy and Brendan ahead of tonight’s Pacer game in New Orleans to preview the game possibly without Zion Williamson, the report over the weekend from Shams Charania regarding a possible extension for Myles Turner, if it would be too difficult to trade Buddy Hield with the success he’s had in Indiana, and how Tyrese Haliburton has completely changed the culture of the locker room.

(1:29:15-1:35:27) – Jimmy, Brendan, and producer Eddie Garrison close out the second hour of the show by discussing which team was the biggest disappointment this season.

(1:35:27-1:59:39) – ISC Sports Network and host of the Fifth Quarter Huddle in Greg Rakestraw joins Jimmy and Brendan ahead of the final three games for the Colts to explain what he wants to see during that stretch, what kind of traits/qualities the Colts need in their next quarterback, and how the Colts could approach the offseason with Bobby Okereke, E.J. Speed, and Parris Campbell.

(1:59:39-2:13:44) – Jimmy finally shares the dilemma he’s in with one of his fantasy football teams, Brendan says that the Colts need to go out and get the guy they want in the draft versus constantly band aiding the position, and what they think the Colts do at general manager.

(2:13:44-2:18:59) – The final segment of today’s show is spent with Brendan, Jimmy, and producer Eddie Garrison sharing their best bets.
