(00:00-24:18) – The Fan Midday Show opens on a Monday with Jimmy Cook and James Boyd recapping the big NBA news yesterday with the Phoenix Suns acquiring Bradley Beal from the Washington Wizards for Chris Paul and a bag of chips. Additionally, they debate if Draymond Green would go to Phoenix vis sign and trade with him declining his player option with the Golden State Warriors for the 2023-2024 season.  

(24:18-47:42) – Late last week ESPN’s Brian Windhorst reported that the Indiana Pacers could be open to trading the seventh pick in Thursday’s draft for a wing that can help them win. Jimmy and James react to that. Plus, they discuss the comments made by Jonathan Taylor at minicamp last week pertaining to a potential contract extension.

(47:42-52:13) – We close out the first hour of the show with Jimmy asking producer Eddie Garrison to share his excitement about the Cincinnati Reds being labeled as “America’s Team” while they’re on their eight-game winning streak. James asks Eddie how soon he expects the winning streak to end.   

(52:13-1:23:50) – George Bremer of the Harold Bulletin in Anderson joins the Fan Midday Show with James Boyd and Jimmy Cook to share his thoughts on how the quarterback battle between Anthony Richardson and Gardner Minshew, how Dallis Flowers fits the prototype corner that Gus Bradley covets, and how eye opening it was to him for what Jonathan Taylor said early in the offseason regarding his contract extension to what he said last week.

(1:23:50-1:35:47) – Jimmy tries to gauge what level of interest James and Eddie had last night on the U.S. Open with it being a primetime slot for the final round of golf and how they felt about the fans surrounding the green on the final hole. Additionally, they touch on James attending Alec Pierce’s camp over the weekend.        

(1:35:47-1:41:25) – The one o’clock hour concludes with Jimmy and James discussing the options that Draymond Green has after declining his player option for the Golden State Warriors for the upcoming season.

(1:41:25-2:05:55) – Pacers beat reporter Dustin Dopirak of the IndyStar joins Jimmy and James on the Fan Midday Show to share what he’s hearing on what the team plans to do with the seventh overall pick, details which players could be added to a trade in order to land a big name, how Tyrese Haliburton likes the aspect of being involved in the decisions being made, and which prospect that he sees Kevin Pritchard and Chad Buchanan selecting at pick seven based off what he's said in previous press conferences.

(2:05:55-2:23:29) – The Athletic’s Zach Berman joins James and Jimmy on The Fan to explain what he saw from Shane Steichen during his time in Philadelphia in helping Jalen Hurts develop into the quarterback he is today, how beneficial it is for Richardson to have Gardner Minshew, what Nick Sirianni has done in Philly to make the players love going to work every day, and how Steichen could approach preseason if he follows the footsteps of Sirianni.

(2:23:29-2:29:30) – We close out today’s show with the JCook Plays of the Day, Eddie sharing play he likes tonight in MLB, and James sharing his thought on the Pacers draft situation.
