Their conversation starts with Tony’s storylines for the remainder of the season for the Pacers. He accesses what kind of minutes Jarace Walker, Ben Sheppard, and Obi Toppin could have in the final 26 games. Finally, he compares Walker’s situation to Pascal Siakam’s rookie season with the Toronto Raptors that’s helped him become the player he is.
(41:34-1:02:28) – Former Big Ten coach and current analyst, Bruce Weber, joins the show to share his thoughts on Indiana’s loss last night to Nebraska, explains what kind of player he sees in Gabe Cupps next season, and states that Indiana needs a couple guards for next season. Additionally, he touches on the Illinois collapse against Penn State, states that he felt like Purdue started slipping in recent games prior to the loss to Ohio State and picks a team that he thinks could win the Big Ten Tournament that’s not at the top of the conference standings.
(1:02:28-1:13:04) – College basketball analyst Robbie Hummel joins the show to preview Purdue’s game tonight against Rutgers, doesn’t believe that Purdue is starting to feel pressure of the NCAA Tournament with March quickly approaching, states that this is the best team that Matt Painter has ever had at Purdue, and lists all the problems that the Indiana Hoosiers have had this season.
