Show Notes

No, not the song from Wicked! I am talking about the 1997 independent film of the same name. It was one of the first pieces of queer media that I ever watched and holds deep meaning for me because of that. The movie is low budget, the script isn't the best, and the actors are new, but for all that, it has a big heart and a lovely message about making things better if you really, really screw up. It's probably hard to find (I've owned the DVD for years!), but I do think it is worth watching if you have the time and don't mind a low budget movie.

I also talk about why I am making this podcast. There is actually a reason behind it and why queer pop culture is so important to me.

There is no language in this, but I do talk about some sexual themes, so the episode will be marked explicit.

Next week, we'll review the movie Shelter for the season finale. After that, we'll be back in February with more episodes to enjoy!
