A man covered in leprosy—cut off from family, community, and worship—throws himself at the feet of Jesus with a desperate plea: “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.” Instead of recoiling, Jesus does the unthinkable—He reaches out and touches the untouchable. This powerful moment in Luke 5 reminds us that no one is too unclean for the grace of Christ, and the same mercy that restored the leper is the mercy that restores us.
