Coming up in New Jersey in the 1960's the only thing tougher than the streets of Hackensack was the terrible congenital disease he was born with. Bob learned at a very young age that he would have to have more grit, more determination and work twice as hard as everyone else to even survive. Through the support of his friends, family, and a childhood Pediatrician, Bob would NOT live with his disease, he would find a way (often his own unique way) to thrive.
