Do you get frustrated when you set goals and don’t hit them? I know I do. Well, here’s what I’ve learned. Usually it’s because we’ve set ourselves up for failure. Here’s what I mean by that. We set unrealistic goals, we put pressure on ourselves to reach those goals in an unrealistic timeframe, and we forget to check in with God to find out what He wants us to do.
Today I want to share a conversation I had with Jo Harris of the Business In His Image podcast earlier this year that addresses these issues. We talk about how to set attainable goals with God at the center so that you can feel fueled up and energized to do the work set in front of you and make a difference using your gifts rather than feeling exhausted, burnt out, and ready to call it quits.
