An einem Abend im September 1982 betritt Declan Flynn den Fairview Park in Dublin. Kurze Zeit später liegt der junge Mann blutüberströmt am Boden. Er wurde Opfer einer Gruppe von Jugendlichen, die seit Monaten, unbehelligt von Polizei und Öffentlichkeit, im Park ihr Unwesen treiben und mit massiver Gewalt die LGBTQ+ Community von Dublin terrorisieren.
