Hans Schmidt wasn’t necessarily set up for success. Even after relocating to New York City years later and becoming an ordained Catholic priest IRL, Father Hans Schmidt continued to live an absolutely insane and less-than-holy existence. When dismembered body parts wrapped in butcher paper started washing up on the Jersey Shore with links to this disturbed man of the cloth, detectives began to unravel one of the most demented psyches they’d ever seen.
