Show Notes

In this episode, Psychiatry XR welcomes Jonah Bryan, a recent Stanford Clinical Informatics Management graduate and a rising leader at the intersection of immersive technology, behavioral health, and artificial intelligence. Jonah shares his journey from early digital phenotyping research at UC San Diego to his latest work designing software for smart glasses that aim to detect and predict relapse in patients recovering from substance use disorders.

Jonah has been an intern with the Psychiatry XR team since early 2025 and will be joining as a co-host of the podcast! His unique perspective, combining clinical research, product design, and an understanding of venture capital, positions him to help advance conversations across stakeholders in this space. He is especially looking forward to bringing early-stage investors onto the show to explore how we can accelerate innovation in medical extended reality.
