This episode features a fantastic doctor from the U.K., Dr. Jen Unwin BSc, MSc, DPsy, FBPsS. Dr. Unwin is a consultant clinical health psychologist, a fellow of the British Psychological Society, and works with the NHS helping patients to combat chronic disease.
In this episode, the discussion covers processed food and sugar addiction, the importance of community and hope in overcoming addiction and disease, the job description of a clinical health psychologist, the philosophy of hope, and the practical medical and overall benefit of having/nurturing hope.
