Lyndon LaRouche began addressing the present crisis more than 50 years ago. He attacked the neo imperial policy called "globalization", which degraded physical economic production in favor of "financialization", i.e., a speculative system, which led to outsourcing, funded by an accelerated increase in debt. It is this system which is crashing. Trump's tariff policy has a legitimate goal, but will not work without a commitment to building a new development architecture which will benefit all nations.
