Gus Hauser went to Furman University and received his BA, then went into coaching basketball first at a division 3 school and eventually at a Division 1 school as the assistant coach at Louisiana Lafayette home of the Rain Cajuns. He later got his MBA at the University of Massachusetts and then took a position as the COO of PT Pros, a physical therapy company in Kentucky with 12 locations.
