Morland Sanders profiles the Secretary General of the Arab League, Amr Moussa. A key pillar in cobbling together international legitimacy for the coalition mission in Libya was support from the League of Arab States. But after bombing runs began, Amr Moussa appeared to criticise the coalition strikes as beyond the scope of the United Nations mandate. Is this apparent wavering a lack of consensus in the Arab League and does this limit its influence? How successful has the League been under the leadership of Amr Moussa?
