Dr. Strover is a Professor in Communication at the University of Texas, where she co-directs the Technology and Information Policy Institute. Among other things, she researches Artificial Intelligence issues including social media-based disinformation and as publicly-deployed technologies. In this talk, she goes over her research from the last several years surrounding public opinion on surveillance. Recorded March 13, 2026 at EFF-Austin Interactive.
