Scripture: Exodus 20:7-11
You shall not make wrongful use of the name of the Lord your God… Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy.
When we live as if God is present, all of life becomes holy. And if we live in denial of God’s presence all of life is made profane. This isn’t just about avoiding cursing and getting to church on Sunday. The point of these two commands is to learn how to journey through all of life with awe. The only alternative to turn all of life into a curse.
