Which do you prefer; comfortable lies or unpleasant truths?
Most of us will say that we want the honest truth but do we really? Derek talks about how painful the truth can be if you are anyone like him. No one wants to hear that you could lose weight if you really wanted to. No one wants to hear that you could make more money if you really wanted to. Really, no one wants to hear things that cause them discomfort in any way...which is why so many of us stay stuck day after day and year after year.
In this episode, Derek dives into what it will take to truly make the changes needed for growth. He also talks about how we have fallen into such an age of disinformation that truth is exceedingly hard to find and accept. Once you do find the truth though, it will change everything!
