Slavery is a thing of the past, right? Well, maybe not...
If the definition of slavery is to be owned by someone else, what would it be called to be owned by SOMETHING else? So many of us are owned by debt or a mortgage or a relationship that forces us to not be able to be truly free.
Would that be called a slave?
In this episode, Derek dives into how so many of us are living in a modern day, self imposed slavery. We are forced to live and to act and to speak in a way that is not that of a free person because we are owned by so many outside forces.
