Overview: This podcast will provide an update on the medical literature and practice guidelines pertaining to exercise. Participants will deepen their understanding of the physical and mental health benefits of exercise and will examine the evidence for a variety of common approaches to exercise (cardiovascular, strength training, high intensity interval training). Barriers to participation in exercise regimens – both for patients and providers – will be explored.
