Overview: Coadministration of drugs should be done with caution, because drug-drug interactions can cause serious adverse effects. Being cognizant of relevant pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacogenetics aspects of a variety of drugs, including analgesics, can reduce such effects.
