Our producer does anything but, so we do not have our intended guest this week. Chortles Weakly taught some classes on worship at his church and was kind enough to use good audio equipment when recording the classes. In lieu of a guest we present the first of two classes. Reformed worship is our wheelhouse, and may it become yours too.

Reformed nuggets of wisdom abound as we are joined by Dr. R. Scott Clark (@rscottclark) of Westminster Seminary California and heidelblog.net. We delve into some topics from his book "Recovering the Reformed Confession" including QIRE, QIRC, Edwards, and revivalism (including a brief detour into pro-wrestling). We had a great time until -- wait for it -- Topher messed up the audio.

We are known for keeping our promises. And no beer reviews. We welcome the esteemed lawyer Will Barrett to the show to discuss how he became an Episcopalian after growing up in the SBC, and the conversation branches out from there. Enjoy as we also discuss where we'd go to church if our preferred polities were not available, some 2k distinctives protecting us from the "Christian personality," and what would a Presbycast be without a discussion of the liberty-focused politics of Machen? And some football coach whose name rhymes with "Satan."

He's baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack! No, not Harambe. Dr. Hart aka Darryl returns to Presbycast to further discuss Redeemer's "Rise" campaign and all of the accompanying hullaballoo. We talk about the conservative convocation that wasn't, and what that won't mean for cons moving forward. Darryl talks about the OPC as a potential refuge for exiled PCA congregations and congregants -- and why it's so dang hard but so dang good to be a presbyterian. Frank Sinatra probably won't endorse our opinions, but the rat pack in the sewers might. Ever heard of a Lutheran church planting a Presbyterian church? Us neither. But the opposite? You may be surprised to hear where your money is going. Lojinks ensue.
