Jesus will have you at His feast. You are forgiven for all your unending excuses on what or why you don’t think this feast is for you. He’ll move heaven and earth if necessary to get you through those doors and into this sanctuary to receive the Great Supper of the Lamb. The invitation cries out over and over, “Come unto Me!” And if you finally come, He’s going to find all those who will receive it. Nobody is excluded. All the social outcasts, screwed up oddballs, ex-cons—you name them—Jesus keeps inviting until His feast is full. It’s not all that impressive or spectacular, at least not until the Last Day, when you and all the dead are raised, and your sleepy eyes open to see the Lamb on His throne, surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses. You’ll feast and sing and tell stories and rejoice in the same way you always have but just couldn’t see.
