Luke 16:19-31
You are surrounded by disease, chaos, riots, protests, rebellion, oppression, and disorder. It has nearly always been true, as there’s nothing new under the sun. Sometimes the dark reality is hiding under the cover of propriety and decency, but its always there. If you would only look honestly at this world, you’d know it isn’t the paradise you thought. If you made a serious assessment of your life, you’d see the darkness within. If you’d be realistic in your expectations, you’d stop living like you’re going to live forever. But you’re good at ignoring it, looking the other way, and putting all your effort in homes, barns, boats, clothing, food, and fun...
