Funeral of Kay R. Winter
Psalm 23
This was Kay’s faith. She knew that one day the Lord would come and take her by the hand and lead her to her heavenly home. This is what happened on the day of her death, which happened to be the day before her baptism birthday. By God's giving, she was baptized into Christ and learned the Lutheran confession. She walked with the Lord all her life. The Holy Spirit guided her steps to walk in Christ’s righteousness, living under His name. By God's grace, she kept his vow to remain faithful to the Lord all her life. And just a few days ago, Jesus gave her a blessed end and brought her safely into His eternal dwellings. What a wonderful example for you! I know that you will miss her in your family.
