Each Divine Service, you are taken from the land of death into the land of life. You are led from wilderness wandering through waters into the promised land. All who are weak, guilty, terrified, ashamed, fearful, humiliated, dying… receive strength in the forgiveness of your sins received in Christ’s body and blood, given and shed for you. He takes from the lowest seat and gives a seat of honor, along with all joined in the unity of the Spirit with Jesus Christ. Be exalted, lifted up, resurrected in the Lord. Amen.
