देखो वक्ष को देखो वह कुछ कर रहा है।
किताबी होगा कवि जो कहेगा कि हाय पत्ता झर रहा है
रूखे मुँह से रचता है वृक्ष जब वह सूखे पत्ते गिराता है
ऐसे कि ठीक जगह जाकर गिरें धूप में छाँह में
ठीक-ठीक जानता है वह उस अल्पना का रूप
चलती सड़क के किनारे जिसे आँकेगा
और जो परिवर्तन उसमें हवा करे
उससे उदासीन है।
