और साँकल इतनी जर्जर
आसमान इतना ज़रा-सा
और हवा इतनी कम-कम
नफ़रत यह इतनी गुमसुम-सी
और प्यार यह इतना अकेला
और गोल-मोल
बाँधो
मुझे बाँधो
पर कहाँ बाँधोगे
किस लय, किस छंद में?
क्या जीवन इसी तरह बीतेगा
शब्दों से शब्दों तक
जीने

लगातार द्वंद में?
