हर घर में
कुछ कुठरियाँ या कोने होते हैं,
जहाँ फ़ालतू कबाड़ इकट्ठा रहता है.
मेरे मस्तिष्क के कुछ कोनों में भी
ऐसा ही अँगड़-खंगड़ भरा है!
जब भी कुछ खोजने चलती हूँ
तमाम फ़ालतू चीज़ें सामने आ जाती हैं,
उन्हीं को बार-बार,
देखने परखने में लीन
भूल जाती हूँ,
कि क्या ढूँढने आई थी!
