इन खेतों पर घन घहराते
शेष रहेंगे;
जीवन देते,
प्यास बुझाते,
माटी को मद-मस्त बनाते,
श्याम बदरिया के
लहराते केश रहेंगे!
हम न रहेंगे-
तब भी तो रति-रंग रहेंगे;
लाल कमल के साथ
पुलकते भृंग रहेंगे!
मधु के दानी,
मोद मनाते,
भूतल को रससिक्त बनाते,
लाल चुनरिया में
लहराते अंग रहेंगे।
